I'm deaf on my left ear but not my right. I usually try to speak softly so that I'm not loud.

I have cochlear implant in both ears from advanced bionics. Love it so much! Love the sounds. I even stream music in my head! I lost my hearing when I was 1 year old.

Mine is from ear infections. I also had a cholesteatoma about 10 years ago.

I've lost around 70% in my right ear due to recurring injury on that side of my head and an accident with a firework when I was a child. I've also got suspected loss in my left ear, but it's minimal and only some pitches. I'm always told I'm talking too loud and spend my life asking 'what?' over and over again or pretending I've heard people. I've testes hearing aid and they really help but haven't got any of my own yet because I'm too scared to go to the doctor for it
