Quinine can help, over the counter, script or even drinking tonic water. Tonic water with quinine is an aquired taste though. Pramipexole, Mirapex, is my very best friend! If nothing else, a hot soak in the tub. As hot as you can stand with some lavender bath salts might help. I am so sorry. RLS is just mean!

Put a bar of soap under your bottom sheet at foot end, sounds daft but it works for me

I used a bar of soap and a nest of pillows to support my legs and hips. It seemed to help. My doctor has me on Baclofen now for it. It helps.

Magnesium and zinc supplement taken half an hour before bed. Lots of stretching (search stretches for calves, legs and hips). Heavy compression sports leggins (I find compression socks aren't that great but they may work too). If you really can't get to sleep, get up and move around a bit if you can. Some people have suggested taking iron to me but I have never personally tried it.

They say to drink some tonic water an hour before bedtime as it has quinine in it to help with restless leg syndromes

They have an over the counter for restleg. Also adk about getting on ambien for help with sleep or tizanidine which is a muscle relaxer.. The ambien is the only sleep that helps my restless leg. No other sleep meds help me what so ever. It's ridiculous how bad it gets. Good luck. I hope it gets better.
