For me, it took years to find something that works good for me. Currently I'm seeing a Dermatologist, which I would recommend to anyone. I'm doing injections every 3 months because I struggled so bad with having to put Steroid Ointment/Creams on my scalp every freaking weekend. The injections I take are Stelara but I've also tried Skyrizi. They calm things down a bit and you might have to try a few since everyone is different. They have $5 copay programs on their website that are easy to apply for. I only pay 5 bucks every time. For spots, that go down to my ears, what has worked really good for me is Enstillar Foam. Shampoo wise I use Tar shampoos you can find at most stores and avoid scented anything. My Dermatologist recommended leaving the Tar on with a cap overnight sometimes and washing it out the next day. It feels great, calms down the itching for stubborn spots.
