Dealing with Scoliosis and Body Image Issues

I felt like sharing, so here goes... Just found out that a slight scoliosis has been causing a majority of my back pain. Anyways, I will be doing physical therapy now, which is good because it gives me a reason to go to the gym. It's the silver lining in the cloud I guess. I have a feeling I'm going to be feeling a lot better about my body image in the coming months and hopefully gain enough confidence to wear a bikini. I'm not sure I'll ever get over my stretch marks though. :(

Have you tried Bio-oil or Aloe vera to fade the stretch marks? In some cases they disappear within 12 months after the baby is born but I am afraid they usually stay as they are scars. You can try to fade them x

no baby here lol! They're on my hips/butt and the back of my calves from growth sperts in my early teens. I guess it's cause of the osteoporosis or something.

Stretch marks are hot, girl!!! Free tiger stripe tattoos. Good luck with PT, it really helped my scoliosis when I was first diagnosed. Make sure you're keeping an eye on your posture when you're sitting or standing, good posture helps a lot
