Dealing with Severe Arthritis Pain

I have severe arthritis of my shoulders and now i have hip pain too. My arthritis is spreading. Im doing physical therapy for now for my shoulders. I get very depressed at times and dont know how to deal with the pain all day long. Is there anyone who feels the way i do and if yes how do you deal with it. Thank you Nina123

😥 I am so sorry that you also are in pain all the time. When it is at a better hour, I would like to offer some hope. I too have chronic and constant pain almost every part of my body.

I feel you is what I was trying to say 🙏. Believe it when I tell you, that this body is only temporary! If you are a believer in Christ, you will receive a new body that will never die, or hurt, or cry again! Be patient just alittle longer!

even though we know that but sometimes its just that you are in so much pain and thats when you start thinking negative. And its hard to push away those negative thoughts. You have to be so so strong mentally to think otherwise

My pain caused depression and anxiety also. I have since been healed of my anxiety! I still cry almost every day. It has a lot to do with my husband. He snaps at me at unexpected times. I try too hard to appease him. Being on pain meds all the time, is made worse when you run out! I am out, for whatever reason, I don't know! I have to deal with increased pain and withdrawals together. I don't like running out! I find that listening to music, and videos that make me happy enough that I forget some of the pain.

you dont have to live with pain. When i do the physical therapy it definitely helps me. You should look to strengthen the muscles around the area of pain. As for your husband snapping at you and you being hurt mentally and emotionally because of it, you should speak to a therapist about how to deal with the situation. I have been thru all of what you are going thru. Therapy does help. And putting yourself FIRST will be the first step towards healing.
