Anti-itch cream might work. I've never had shingles myself but one of my teachers did. She also had to get them removed which might be something you might need. I wish you the best in recovery.💕

When I had it the itch wasn't bad, but it was extremely painful to the point that they gave me prescription pain meds to manage the pain. Mine were on my back & I was an administrative assistant at the time & had to buy an inflatable pillow to keep my back from touching the chair. Cold compresses help with the itch & the pain as well.

Also, they lasted about 3 weeks, but the pain wore off after able a week & a half.
