Dealing with Shop Addiction and Depression

I have a shop addiction due to my depression. Shopping makes me release dopamine, so I buy things i want (not really need). I’ve been buying perfumes (perfume makes mood levels rise and sometimes brings back memories, that’s why i’m attached), backpacks and clothes (things that make me want to feel more confident because i sometimes have trouble liking myself), and idk how else to stop it. I know my credit card by heart and if I remove it from my phone i’ll need it on there for a necessary payment or emergency money as soon as i remove it. Any advice?

Go to thrift stores. You can search through there & find treasures but not spend allot. Set limits for yourself. Try to find another activity that does the same for you. My addiction is tattoos, I haven't gotten one in a while. I have found other ways to get the same feeling that isn't as expensive.
