Dealing with Social Anxiety at Work

I had to train someone at my job and my social anxiety kicked in. I kept feeling warm and I felt like I was talking to fast. I began to feel better after it was over. Does anyone else feel like that at work? Or am I the only one?

Yeah I tend to imagine how I'd look while stumbling over my words or pronouncing things become hard. I think it about it everyday😥

I used to panic and stammer badly whenever a coworker would greet me at the start of my shift. I think the key is to keep pushing yourself outside your comfort zone by engaging with others socially on a regular basis. You eventually realize that what other people think of you doesn’t matter as much as you thought it did. You gain confidence in yourself. It may take a while, but interacting socially becomes easier with practice and experience.
