Dealing with TMJ: Seeking Advice

My jaw pops and cracks and gets stiff easily. So far there's no pain, but my orthodontist suspects that I have TMJ. I want to look more into it as it's getting worse, but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

A good dentist will be able to treat you at there office. I used to see a specialist. While he was highly accredited he wasn't much help.

Cervical spine chiropractors are great. And orthodontist can also help to tell you if your tmj is related at all to your teeth and the way you bite. My biggest advice; start getting it under control now. I knew I was a jaw clencher and teeth grinder, but never really thought much of it until I spent 14 days in excruciating pain with a tension headache. It is so hard to come out of flare ups like that, and so much better if you can keep the issues to a minimum at the start. Best of luck ❤️

Try and get a specialized sleep mouth guard, worked wonders for me :)
