Debilitating Migraines: Seeking Advice

i’ve been struggling with intense migraines for the past few years now. i have a headache almost every day and usually can just manage the pain…i can’t even remember the last time my head hasn’t hurt. during the past few months, almost every week i’ve been getting the most intense migraines…so bad i can’t even get out of bed or do daily activities. i want it to stop but i’m too anxious to go to a doctor in case something is really wrong

It's better to get checked out quickly and get treated, than not know and get worse. Plus, it's probably just chronic migraine. I also suffer from those and I know how debilitating they can be. Since I started Topamax in 2020 I haven't had a single migraine. I hope someday you can make that first step and get to feeling better.

i was on topamax in high school and i hated it so much. it probably is just chronic migraine but i’m worried because it’s been going on for years now

A friend of mine is in the exact same boat. I think you might want to talk to a doctor asap. She is still unsure what’s going on with her but it’s getting out of the hospital all the time because she waited and it just got worse over time. Maybe you can get some answers and it will ease your pain. But I really hope you feel better ! 💕

please go to a doctor. my migranes were so bad until i learned they come from my dads side. i got mris done and nothing was really wrong, so i’ve tried almost every migrane medication. none was responding, im not doing botox for my migranes and it’s been a lifesaver. you don’t wanna be in pain!! feel better 💓
