Dealing with Diabetic Neuropathy Pain and Toe Nail Build Up

I am in so much pain. My diabetic neuropathy has my feet feeling like it's on fire. Is anyone familiar with build up under the toe nail? I tried to clean it myself but it hurt, so I stopped so I can just have the podiatrist do it. Any suggestions?

As far as the buildup, are you able to soak your feet in a warm water bath? That will help loosen things up then you should be able to clean it up a bit easier

yes, it hurts even when I wash them. That's why I'm waiting to go to my podiatrist. Everything hurts.

I'm working on lowering my blood sugar as well so that I'm able to get a cortisone shot to help with pain. I'm thinking of trying cannabis gummies.
