How were you diagnosed? I’m actually having symptoms that point to temporal arthritis and I’m 49.

I too was told I was too young. Age 51 and symptoms going on for a year and half now. What symptoms do you have that had you question temporal Arteritis?

behind the eye pain( I do have dry eyes) then sudden temporal pain that wouldn’t go away with face numbness, ear , jaw, teeth pain and arm weakness and numbness followed by neck and back. So far now the head pain and numbness had subsided on its own but I still get the neck and back pain that I feel can shoot into my temples . Had mri of neck waiting on results .

I'm 29 and might have it. Waiting for a rheumatologist referral for a biopsy and starting prednisone.
