I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of months after my father passed in 2020 and it was almost certainly a physical manifestation of the emotional grief and turmoil. Likewise I am unsure I trust the diagnosis because although I did have global pain at the time that affected my ability to work and function, with the alleviation of grief severity over time the pain has likewise dissipated. I feel almost guilty like I don't have it as bad as other people with fm diagnosis, although I know comparison isn't really constructive.

I was diagnosed with fibro a bit before the winter storm last year. I was having awful pains everyday after intense stress I was under at my boyfriends parents house. The mom always wanted to start something making everything uncomfortable on top of my relationship with my family going downhill after one thing and another. I feel like the main thing was being on birth control and having my emotions being 10x crazier
