Seeking Validation for Being a Little with Only One Alter

I am a little, which means I slip into little space. I only have that one alter, and I am seeking validation, because people think you have to have at least nine different alters (which is the average) to be considered to have D. I. D. Am I right or wrong? I am not diagnosed so I would love to know what y'all think

There is a difference between age regression and little alters. Without more information on your symptoms no one will be able to assist properly though!

I find with my little, I have lapses in memory and my ADHD and anxiety spikes. I don't know.

non-did littles also frequently have a poorer memory when regressed; I recommend doing more research. Do you have any other symptoms that could point to did? Is this negatively impacting your life in any manner? Etc. Good luck :)

age regression and having littles are different--we have both. little alters and always children. age regression is a coping mechanism where you revert back to a younger state of mind. i can say that you only need two alters to have DID

It's true you only need 2 alters to have DID, but as others have said, they are incredibly different and a system little has no relation to sexual littles. System littles are mentally children. And age regressing or having an "inner child" is incredibly common among singlets (especially ones with other disorders) so without more information on the actual dissociative symptoms you experience, it's hard to say if you have a dissociative disorder! Good luck on your journey though 💗
