Different Faces of Depression: Anger, Anxiety, and Sadness

Does anyone else feel like the depression presents itself in different ways sometimes? Sometimes I’m just super angry and sometimes I’m super anxious and sometimes I’m super sad. It’s not just a constant state of gloomy. Sometimes I’m just very easy to anger and find myself furious over the smallest things. I wouldn’t say I struggle with anger management at all. Because I feel terrible when I have short tempers with people.

I don’t know about BPD, it sounds like pretty typical with depression to me. I get the same way. My least favorite is when I don’t have the emotional depression, but I still have the behaviors of depression like I can’t get out of bed or I’m not eating/drinking enough or taking care of myself.

I feel this, it's not always gloomy. I don't know much about BPD other than that I used to date someone who has it, we had some similarities but ultimately we were quite different. I think there's a line between the way depression affects your emotionality and the way BPD manifests
