I'm sorry that it's been rough for you, just know everyone goes at things there own pace 💙 my discord is Queen-Lucas#4265 if you ever want to vent there about things. I even have a friend making a server that I'm also making into a mental health server so it focuses on both. What things can you do to help your mental health?

I have my own discord servers but they’re not public. I use them like an organised notes app to sort out my thoughts. I do keep looking for community servers that are small enough to make friends on, but these days they’re either completely inactive or always talking so I can’t really get involved in conversation.

I co-own a writing server with my sister. Sadly, it's dead. But we chat in the admin channel all day every day. We do talk about our mental health a lot so it does affect me negatively sometimes. I'm also part of several other servers for various things. For the most part, the others affect my mental health positively. When I look for new servers, I like to find smaller servers that are active and allow me to engage with my hobbies. I joined a server for one of my conditions once and found it very unsupportive. So I prefer to just stick to hobby servers.

I'm sorry you found it unsupportive *hugs*. With your writing server try promo bot maybe? Also adding it on serval discord sites can get people in. I also have a writing server that has people but it's a bit dead. Because I spend alot if time on my friend making/mental health server

TW: death I once tried to join a mental health server and the mod got mad at me because there was a passcode that changed every day and they forgot to change it for that day so I had used the one from the day before. Another server I was in they wouldn’t stop being racist/ posting pics of various dead people who died in similar ways to the reasons why I have ptsd I have brain damage anyways so learning a new website is very hard for me and I always feel like I’m doing the wrong thing on discord

I am very sorry you went through that 💔 that is horrible. If you ever try using discord again after that I know couple communities you can join that are better then that 💙 and I also am very good at making servers (made 25 servers so far) and can help you make one as well.

I have joined several for games and illness they help me a lot. Especially bc I can make friends when it's not always possible for me to leave my home.

I am running a Discord server! It's called impractical murder machine, it is about everything, and anyone can join. It's unique because my mom is a semi-active member of the server! Running a server makes my mental health a lot better because I enjoy facilitating fun and interesting interactions between people I've met in all different places!!
