I suspected I was probably autistic since I was maybe 16 or 17 but I didn't get diagnosed until I was 21 and it was like a huge relief to finally have a diagnosis

I just got my diagnosis a couple months ago (I’m 18) - been considering it since 16 but never got tested till now. Finding out has been such a huge relief though… it’s so crazy how things just start to connect. Better late than never!

one of my friends (diagnosed at 12) told me i should ask my therapist about being autistic bc we have really similar experiences. when i was 16 i did a lot of research and its really likely i do have autism, but getting a diagnosis is hard :/

I didn't know I was until I got diagnosed at 17, I cut my hair earlier that year because of gender identity crisis and that is what lead to my diagnosis.
