Do I Have Vocal Tics?

Is it normal to not have vocal tics? the only tics I have are hitting (mostly in the leg area) and a cat sneezing sound...-

Yes! When I first got diagnosed with tics, I hummed? Kind of? I made high pitch noises every so often. Now I tend to say words repeatedly until I feel I've said them right or until my tics are satisfied 😂. I hope this helps.

Yes, it is normal. The most common tic disorder people think of is Tourettes, but there are a lot more than that! Some disorders are just motor, while some are just vocal, and vice versa. Tourettes is just a combination of both. (This is all really simplified, but that's the gist). You don't have to have Tourettes to have tics, and you don't have to have both motor and vocal to have tics. Whatever disorder/symptoms you have, you are still valid.
