Looking for Eczema Support During Topical Steroid Withdrawal

Does anyone on here have eczema and going through (tsw) topical steroid withdrawal I am just looking for someone to share foods, relate to, and over just find someone who gets what I'm going through?

Yea, about 18 months into TSW. So sorry that you’re dealing with this too - it’s awful. I found that dairy really affected my digestion negatively and cutting that out has helped reduce symptoms and flare ups, but I think there are other environmental triggers that are harder to control, as well as stress. I started taking Lexapro early in the withdrawal process and I feel like that helped with coping with the condition

Sorry, dumb question but what is topical steroid withdrawal? I ask because I’m currently using a topical steroid for my hands & wonder about how long I can use the steroid cream & when I stop will the cracks, flaking, & intense itching come back.

I just recently found out that it’s what I’m possibly going through, so I’ve been on my journey for probably 4 months now. It sucks because I recently found out that I’m allergic to touching cats now because of how cracked my skin is at the moment 🥺
