I used to take Prozac for anxiety/depression and omg it was so odd not being anxious for the first time. its like what i thought was normal got turned upside down, i probably could’ve given a speech and been just fine

CBT worked for me 😊

CBT is great because it teaches you how to notice when you're getting overwhelmed, and how to help when that does happen. That's been super helpful for me and I still use it actively

The only two things that have made a difference for me are being on Celexa & undergoing behavioral therapy. I still struggle but therapy has given me so many tools, I was terrified and ashamed to go but it has changed my life.

Tomorrow I’m getting my first IV Ketamine Infusions. I’m currently on Nardil (phenelzine, an MAOI) which originally helped, but after a series of unexpected and traumatic events that led me back to living with my abusers I relapsed into the worst depression yet. I’m really relying on this to help because I’ve been through a lot of therapy and I’m a psychology-related major at university, so I could honestly write a book on coping skills.

Abilify is my magic stabilizer :) barely side effects, I also love Lexapro for depression, doesn’t help much for anxiety though but a bit.

I like my Lexapro, though some people do have trouble with it. 10 mg works perfectly for me

i really enjoyed group therapy when it was in person (before covid) it was nice to have to be present and hear other people’s experiences!
