If you’ve got ptsd I’d recommend looking into EMDR (rapid eye movement therapy basically) and the way that it works is that basically when you’ve got PTSD it means ur brain hasn’t processed what actually happened properly so it kinda thinks it’s still a recent thing. Like how u forget abt something if it happened a rlly long time ago except with ptsd cuz ur brain hasn’t stored it properly it keeps bringing those memories back to the front of your mind because it thinks it’s still going on. there are special eye movements they get you to do that basically make your brain relive the event and then store it in the correct way so ur brain stops bringing it back to u everytime you see a trigger. The good thing is about this is that it’s normally very effective. I have a friend that did it and it’s changed her life. But the downside to it is that you need a good support network in place including professionals, family, friends, pets (if that’s something you have) because it makes your brain relive it to store it properly people often finds that things feel worse beforeee they get better. It does get easier with time though

I started EMDR 2 years ago and it's a game changer. Went through multiple types of therapy (regular talk therapy, CBT, DBT, etc.), but EMDR is the only one that really helps. My therapist does bilateral tapping, which basically means I alternate tapping both sides of my body at a certain speed instead of eye movements. It's definitely really good for a lot of people!
