I was able to wean off both my SSRI (Vybriid) and ADHD meds (Focalin). I learned that the SSRI was affecting my REM sleep (I was getting maybe 12% average). REM sleep is important for replenishing your neurotransmitters, so I transitioned off the meds and my REM sleep improved (Now I'm at about 22-25% rem sleep). I've been taking the holistic approach to healing myself naturally and supplementing for deficiencies in my body and I feel truly normal for once in my life. I just hated that the meds to help neurotransmitter deficiencies affected sleep in a way that furthers those deficiencies. So SSRIs can in a way deplete your dopamine more. You'd want to fully understand what causes your symptoms before stopping meds like I did. Definitely work with your doctor on that and don't just stop them without knowing what you're doing!

So I’m on concerta and desvenlafaxine/pristiq, and honestly I’m still constantly goin but I’m a lot more focused. My ocd can be quite bad from time to time, but I just gotta continue tryin to have good days yk? Like great days at work = good days at home and stuff, barely any anxiety. My ocd has definitely gotten better within the past few months I’ve switched to the SSRI since the one before stopped working.

I used to take Folcalin, helped a bit, but if I took it on a weekend or on a break from school (summer, spring, etc.) I was like a zombie
