Effexor making me sleepy during the day

has anyone had any issues with their Effexor making them sleepy throughout the day? I'm wondering if I should switch it to nighttime.

Interesting I have not. But everyone is different. I would try it but just remember you might get withdrawals the first few days. Since this med is hard with withdrawal symptoms

I've been on effexor for close to 2 years and I've had chronic tiredness bc of it, I've only now just connected the dots that the medicine is more than likely the cause of it.

I went to bed at 9pm last night, woke up with 8 hours of good sleep, and within a couple of hours I was exhausted. Then I ended up taking 2 naps during the day and here I m at 8pm and I'm tired again. I hate it! Idk what to do to make it stop.

I have Insomnia as well as take Effexor so it’s hard for me to know what’s causing the random days of feeling tired.

Was tired before and now it’s so much worse. Getting tested for narcolepsy to see if that’s it or has to do with the Effexor. Am prescribed so it would help stimulate me and balance mood and pain levels but so far it’s been awful. Tried different dosage and timing and nothing really seems to make a difference. I’m over it and need to start getting off of it.
