I did a few years ago, it was EMDR for a sexual trauma and it weirdly helped me process what happened. I remember it was about 4 sessions or so, and after the fourth i felt significantly better. It took a while but i recommend just trying it

It brought up a lot of old feelings so be prepared for that- but after a month or so i felt back to normal

My therapist did it for me when I first started therapy with her 10 years ago (when I was 6) to help me open up and talk to her cause when I first started with her I was mute and wouldn’t talk to her. After a couple sessions with it it helped me to start talking to her and once I started talking she couldn’t get me to stop 😂 so I say it helped. Mine was EMDR Light therapy.

EMDR has helped me process a lot of childhood trauma. I did it a few years ago and it doesn’t solve everything but it helps you better understand why you’re feeling the way you are so you can then move past it.
