for years i was able to be on xanax, which helped tremendously until i developed addiction issues and now i cannot take it again. i am really struggling with it. i had a grip on it for years, but after i had covid i regressed completely and i have quit working and leaving my house most days, i don’t eat very much and i don’t spend a lot of time with my friends. therapy definitely helps, but it is hard to find a therapist that specializes in phobias :( also, support pages like this one and facebook help a lot too. i don’t wish this on anyone, but it’s so nice to know we are not alone. also- this won’t fix anything but peppermint oil has been a lifesaver for me whenever i am feeling sick or especially anxious. it really takes the edge off. i like to put a dab behind each ear and on my chest.
