Just diagnosed with Endometriosis, seeking advice on recovery

I just got diagnosed with Endometriosis yesterday via Laparoscopy! Still recovering from it, curious on how my belly button is going to heal and how long it’ll take… I have steri strips (instead of stitches) that’ll come off on their own in about a week or so, as well as a post-op appointment on the 5th of August where my surgeon will share the specifics like where it was found, what stage, etc! Then we’ll discuss going back in through DaVinci (robotic) and fully excising. Has anyone gotten an excision with DaVinci? Kinda nervous and hate that he has to go back in. 😅 But I’d rather get it done now as opposed to continuing to suffer like I have for the past 8 years! I almost cried due to my suspicions being confirmed. No one else believed me besides my surgeon and his PA, and now that it’s been proven that I’m not crazy, it’s so bittersweet… Any advice on recovery for now and in the future would be greatly appreciated! 💕

I got my laproscopy done in 2020. The healing went well. The only part I didn't like was all the gas I had after the procedure. Make sure you take time off to properly heal!
