ER Visit Due to PCOS

So I can now officially say I have spent the night in the ER because of PCOS. I don’t know why but I feel slightly embarrassed. Though I know some of them can be life threatening.. I just I guess I want to know how to prevent them if I can and how to personally deal with this situation next time if I can.

Can you help? Connect today

Sorry you are going through this. I was also diagnosed with this same thing but my doctor put me on Metformin which is a Diabetic medication but it is also used to treat PCOS and most of it's symptoms. It is also used to help with weightloss due to diabetes and PCOS. Hope this helps!

see I was diagnosed with prediabetes and PCOS was supposed to get tested for diabetes too. I’ll definitely talk to my doctor about what options would be beneficial ^_^ thank you!
