My esophagus is fully paralyzed (type 1 achalasia)! I have had 2 surgeries that have helped but swallowing is still difficult.

🤗 ✋ Hi, i know your struggles, i has this from the age of 9 and now i’m 30. I have struggled to eat since and to still this day now i struggle. I suffer with chest pain and tightness of my chest but i just carry on. It is not easy but i guess i am now used to it. I have gone through many surgeries and i can now eat. I was fed through a stomach peg from 9-15 years old. Life has been a struggle but i am just thankful to the people who was there to help me.

I guess it's like that in some level, some days it really feels like it's not working at all, but some days I'm still able to swallow tiny bits of food..

Yes, type 2 achalasia (no motility). Just had Heller Myotomy and am recovering, so far better but am struggling a bit with heartburn now.

I was on nexium for a few years, I had to come off. I take an eighth of baking soda to 6 Oz of water and take tiny sips. I have only had to do that about 3 times. I no longer have Any heartburn or indigestion.
