I'm in this same spot...I have a Bowflex at home and a gym membership I think we just need to keep each other motivated... Others at the gym don't understand because I can't go every day and overdo it just need to find Happy median

đź‘ŤI agree. It's pretty easy to overdo it too sadly. I wish people did understand, I have a friend that I told me "you always feel bad or tired" as if it was my fault on why I couldn't hang out at the time lol

I never understood how people could enjoy exercising of any sort because it always seemed to exhaust me or cause me more pain. Honestly, water aerobics has been something I found that makes me feel good about exercising more. It's the one time I wasn't in extreme pain, and still felt worked out. My local rec center does it. But I'm trying to go again with my brother to get more motivated to actually do it

That's great and we will be praying for you! I've not had the chance to do any water aerobics but found the water massage chair at the gym sometimes just helps out some days!

Trying yoga and Tai Chi but with balance issues it's difficult

Tai chi looks like that could be fun, likewise about the balancing issue. Heck I've even walked into the doorway etc or had my knee go limp like as it didn't wanna keep me up

This is a great question! I seem to pay for any activity over my daily walking, approximately 1-1.5 miles. This is difficult considering two and a half years ago. I was a pretty serious athlete. I, too, would love to know this and how much is too much? How did you work up to a higher level?

Yoga, meditation, and just walking. As for motivation I just remember 2 things...1 I can at least put my tennis shoes on and walk to the curb every day or do 3 yoga poses, etc...2 if I don't who will know? I will!!
