Struggling to Exercise with POTS: Any Tips?

Hey guys, how do you exercise? I have such difficulty getting out of bed most days, exercising seems so unobtainable. How do I get started when you have POTS?

I also have a lot of trouble getting physically active. I try to do low-impact exercises like a short walk around the block with the length based off my energy that day (even if it’s just a single block-which also helps get me outside a bit), I don’t ever force myself to do a full workout for a certain amount of time like cardio for 30 minutes-instead I only make myself do 5 minutes and if after the 5 minutes I want to stop I do but most of the time I have already started so I keep going. If I’m having a tougher day and can’t tolerate being up right then I will stretch or do some small exercises while lying down like leg lifts or arm circles. My goal is usually “just move my body in some way” but it looks different every day.

In my opinion, the recumbent bike and aquatic therapy are the best for pots. Especially for trying to regain stamina
