I really want to figure out how to better manage it... it's like I always need a distraction to keep my mind at bay

when i need to be distracted i like to play with my cat or cuddle with him. it is a very good coping strategy for me and helps me a lot. another thing i like doing is taking warm baths because the water makes me feel comfortable.

I do the bath thing too! 🙌 a lot of the time, my lows hit hardest at work. I can play video games or keep myself occupied at home, but work leaves me stuck. Writing has helped me a lot though

I am currently in one, I just feel disconnected from everyone/everything I love and like the world is a place that makes me unhappy, I try to cope by rewatching my favorite shows and connecting with my loved ones :)

My lows happen every few months and last about a week. Normally I just lose all motivation, and don’t leave my room unless necessary. What usually helps is socialization if I have the energy for people, if I don’t have the energy for people then I will socialize with my animals. Also just forcing myself to take care of myself helps,

For me my lows happen everyday ( I’ll get super depressed/ suicidal and planing on cutting everyone because they don’t like me) on a daily basis for most of the day and then suddenly I’ll be fine and it kinda just flip flops on a daily basis and if I do have a day that was particularly good the next day will be completely bad
