Experiencing Tactile Hallucinations with BPD

So I have bpd and I think I’m experiencing tactile hallucinations . When my phone is my pocket I feel it vibrating but when I go look at my phone there’s no notifications

yup! i deal with this too. i didn’t even know it was a bpd thing until my therapist told me.

I often hear my phone vibrate and feel it when it's close to me but like you said, when I look... Nothing's there. I just always thought I was addicted to my phone and that's why I imagined these things 😅 this makes more sense though.

I get this. I often hear people saying my name and theres nothing. I also hear music very quietly that isn't there.

I have this as well. I also get audio hallucinations (sounds not voices).

I would be careful attributing this to bpd! I've experienced this before and have joked with my friends about it - it might be more common than you think. It feels nice to be able to explain some weird experience through a diagnosis, but if you're not careful you'll overfit to that lens.

This is the worst thing ever, along with auditory. I was placed on Seroquel and it helped a lot.
