Exploring Medication Options for PTSD

I am currently taking Wellbutrin XL 150, Prozac 40. I'm wanting to come off the Wellbutrin because I feel like it's not adding anything or helping. I just have weird side effects. My question is I also have fairly terrible PTSD and my doctor was considering adding an antipsychotic to help with my paranoia and intrusive thoughts. Did anyone else try a prozac and anti psychotic treatment for OCD/PTSD? I'm very nervous about medication so it's hard for me to try anything new.

I take Prozac and Welbutrin. As well, I take Risperdal. I take other things too. But I find the Risperdal helps a lot with the intrusive thoughts associated with OCD/PTSD. Of all the antipsychotics I've personally taken, I find Risperdal to be the most effective with the least side effects.

I completely agree. I swear I have been on all of them and this is only one that works for me.
