Eye injury and my birthday

im a regular contact user but just last Tuesday I accidentally got pepper underneath my contact which caused a burn and then a cut on my eyeball right in front of my cornea. My eye swelled up and turned purple and red and it wouldn't stop tearing up, I couldn't wear my contacts anymore for a while obviously but I also don't have spare glasses so I've been struggling for a bit since I'm near sighted and my vision is -6. It's Sunday now and my eye is doing a lot better but it still tears up when I look at anything bright for more than a second and it's still a little puffy. My birthday is tomorrow and I really want to go to school so everyone can sing me happy birthday and they can give me my presents but I don't know if I can make it through the day without being able to see. I know there isn't anything I can do but I just wanted to know if I should or shouldn't go.

I think you should go! Vision or not your making memories with the people that love you the most! Totally worth it. 🤗

Did you go to the doctor to have them look at your eye? That sounds so painful. I'd be nervous of partially losing my eyesight or something. I'm legally blind so I know A LOT about glasses/contacts/eyes, etc. Good luck though and happy birthday!
