Eye Makeup and Sjogren Syndrome: Need Advice

Hi! Do you women with sjogren syndrome have problems using eye makeup, eye liner or eye lashes makeup? My eyes feel worst when i use makeup and I dont know if this happens because of the syndrome or is some allergic reaction to it…

Yes! My eyes always feel so dry and itchy, and they burn when I’m wearing mascara or eyeliner.

Mascara bothers my eyes, but not eyeliner. Just seems pointless to put it on most days because of how much I rub my eyes

I constantly feel like something is in my eye, and it's way worse when I wear makeup.

I noticed my eyes do itch when I wear mascara, but not bad enough for me to care.

Hey! Yesss... but .. I finally found theeee best eyeliner. My eyes burn & water with most eye makeup . I now use Almay eyeliner & sensitive eyes mascara. It’s a game changer for us in the Sjrogrens club.

Yeah makeup in general irritates my eyes so I just don’t wear it.

I used to be a professional makeup artist and I had to abandon my career because of the eye irritation. I did uncover a lot of allergies too, but frequently I would just wake up with my eyes too irritated to mess with.

It's probably a combo of sjogrens and the ingredients of the product
