Feeling Watched at Night: Paranoia or Scopophobia?

it's sounds so childish but my mind makes me think someone's watching me. Sometimes it makes me think that if i look away for too long or fall asleep or something, the thing that i think is there will attack me, sometimes when i hear noises, i feel as if the thing that's watching me is trying to get me in a vulnerable state for a second, get me to refocus my mind on the noise that was created so they could get me, sometimes i think of the thing thats watching me had huge wide open eyes, small pupils that are bright in the dark. waiting and watching my every move. Is this paranoia or scopophobia, it's only when i'm alone at night, not when i'm out during the day, it effects my sleep a lot, and takes me a while to fall asleep.
