Hi! I actually am diagnosed with both. Fibromyalgia in 2010 and MS in 2012. Pain was once dismissed as not a real symptom in of itself for MS. Thus too many doctors misdiagnosis if the general symptoms are fatigue & pain. I don’t have pronounced MS symptoms but my MRI’s painted a different picture. Lesions grew every year. I treat both, fibromyalgia with a low dose of bupromorphine and the MS with Mavenclad.

Mine was the other way around. I was diagnosed with MS and at first felt fortunate that I had limited symptoms. Then I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple of years later. I have both. Sometimes it’s scary to look at a symptom through the lens of having both. You have a new symptom and wonder which disease it is.
