Cymbalta 60mg works best for me. It is actually an anti-depressant that helps calm nerve pain. It REALLY works for both. Cuts my pain level about in half! Good luck!

Lyrica is a good one too. Just don't let them forgot to raise your dose from time to time when you need it. They start off at 75 mg.

I was already on Zoloft when I got the diagnosis, so they couldn't put me on a medication like Cymbalta. I was prescribed a muscle relaxer to take as needed and it helps a lot on my bad days.

They can taper you off the Zoloft and then put you on Cymbalta. It was a huge success for me. As it blocks pain perception to the brain.

Lyrica didn't work for me but Neurontin (Gabapentin) did.

A muscle relaxer with nerve meds can help.

I’m on the max of Gabapentin 800 mg 4xs a day. Sometimes that doesn’t work.

I take venlafaxine (effexor), diclofenac, & tramadol for mine. I've tried all others mentioned here, but this is what has worked best for me. I still suffer with pain, but at least it's tolerable.
