Distinguishing Symptoms of Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis

What are the distinguishing symptoms between fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis if you have both? My doctor is trying to figure out if adding rheumatoid arthritis meds (on top of Hashimoto’s meds and FM meds and POTS meds) will help me with my fatigue, inflammation, and joint pain. Blood tests have been inconclusive.

I believe it's inflammation, no? like the physical presence of inflammation that distinguishes rheumatoid. plus blood testing down the road if it is rheumatoid it WILL eventually show up. I had ultrasounds on my joints to check for arthritis they should be able to see something if it is

Thanks so much for replying! I did have some damage in my hands when I had imaging done a few years ago, but up through college I did martial arts, so very high impact on the hands. Hashimoto’s also causes inflammation. So the problem is, that if it’s RA, it’s effectively invisible since it’s not showing up in bloodwork (yet.)
