All over muscle pain, sometimes headache 🤕 I take magnesium, vitamin D3, muscle relaxers and night to sleep! I invested in a hot tube so I use that to relieve pain! Also, Epson salt baths help. I use CBD capsules and pain cream

When I have flare ups, wellI usually always have some symptoms so what I usually call flare up is when it is really bad. I can feel achy muscles, rib cage pain(which they call chest wall pain or Costochondritis), and tingling and pain on my skin. Which is worsened by a feeling of being cold.

I've only recently began having cramping in my ribs. I thought it was just me. Thanks for the info.

What I do for my flares? Depending on what I need to do it may include wrapping myself in a fluffy soft blanket with a large heating pad around my rib cage. Taking whatever medicine I have for pain, even if I don’t think it will help much. When I didn’t have the meds that I have now ( late 2021 is the first time that I have really had medication for my Fibro ) I would take either Tylenol, diclofenac, etc. I would have my motivational readings and prayers available, calm music that I love, candles ( be careful with candles) aromatherapy, It is vital to sleep some or just watch tv.

I now see a rheumatologist and a pain management doctor, after so many years, around 35. I am taking lyrica and Celebrex. I am already taking Cymbalta ( which I don’t think helps me with pain, but it helps wonderful with depression)
