Sometimes, I get low grade fever

I'm the opposite. I tend to not get fevers when I'm sick because my body temperature is a bit lower than normal. A fever is about 99°F for me and it can be so hard to get medical professionals to believe me!

This is so interesting. I really rarely hit 100 with a fever, but my regular temperature is also just above 97, occasionally lower. @fibrozombie, same as far as the difficulty getting medical people to listen to that. I even mentioned this symptom with my PCP once, and she didn’t invalidate it but she said that it’s not a symptom she’s heard about from her other patients with fibromyalgia. This is the same doctor who diagnosed me with fibro.

Yes but the musculoskeletal pain is worse than the low grade fevers for me. I feel like I have the flu at least once a week

i've actually noticed that I've been hanging around 99.2-99.4 pretty consistently for a while now which only really started when I started having my fibro symptoms

I've been struggling to get ANY doctor to take my fevers seriously because I've been testing negative for EVERYTHING. But... you could ask a rheumatologist to do an autoimmune panel test. Or.. a genetic disorder panel test. In my case it's looking like psychogenic fevers. Any physical and mental stress causes fevers. (And I am a stay at home mom with two boys (4 & 5) and a husband😝)I'm between 100 and 102 basically every day now
