I deal with this a lot too. unfortunately I haven’t really figured out a way to fix it yet but I just wanted to say you’re not alone!

I found out just moving constantly helps nerve pain, I think for numbness is good too.

If you are talking about emotional numbness with depression I have recently been trying something that has been working. Instead of trying to focus on regaining my emotions, I focus on physical feelings first. So I will take a hot bath, use a face mask, or a body scrub and focus on the feeling it creates; heat, cold, soft, rough. Anything that causes you to feel something. It helps me reconnect with myself.

Pick up a new interest! listen to a new music album or watch a new tv show! It’ll help get your brain interested in life again. Sometime just being in the same routine every day makes you go numb to everything. I constantly have to change my habits in order to not go numb.

Bubz’s suggestion about revisiting old interests is a good one! Maybe hobbies you haven’t looked at in a long time, or even trying new ones. I’m a big fan of anything that involves creating with your hands— even if what you make is kinda ugly lol. Have you heard of acrylic paint pouring? A lot of people are into that right now!
