Wellbutrin and Strattera and both were terrible for me (graphic nightmares, sleep problems, and inability to eat) but right now I'm on antidepressants Lexapro and Remeron and Remeron has actually helped me get more done around the house. I'm looking into stimulants to help with school as well but do not have a prescription yet

I have been having the weirdest dreams that have been feeding my imnsonia. I always know when I dream and it’s borderline lucid dreaming and I just realized maybe it’s a side effect from Wellbutrin

I started with Seroquel and Effexor, but those made my depression significantly worse so I switched to Lexapro, then added Wellbutrin, Trazodone, and Hydroxyzine. Recently I started taking Buspirone as needed for anxiety. I might have to talk to my doctor about something I can take more regularly for my anxiety, but besides that this cocktail has been working so far! I also started taking vitamin supplements that specifically help with mood like Omega-3 and Vitamin D, as well as a daily vitamin, which I feel like has helped a lot too since my diet sucks

Buggirlx your doctor didn’t suggest maybe trying something besides that? My doctor started me on Wellbutrin because she knew I had problems sleeping and I problems with anxiety. She wanted to make sure I didn’t get on stimulants right away so I didn’t get panic attaca

No actually not they absolutely refused to let me be on any other medication so I just stopped asking after a while even when I took the ADD test several times and passed it. Wellbutrin does an actually help with ADD because it’s an antidepressant. Anti depressants didn’t help with my ADD, Because they make me so tired that I end up doing even less than I did before like for example if my house is messy because of ADD Anti-depressants only make me more tired so I actually would do even less house cleaning than before in fact anti depressants were extremely diminishing to my life. And that’s probably because I’m not depressed I only have ADD.

i originally tried zolpidem and Adderall, then moved to sertraline and wellbutrin, im currently on sertraline and it still isnt helping me, so it really just depends on the person.

They started me on lexapro because they hypothesized that my adhd symptoms were being caused by anxiety but put me on adderall when they realized it wasnt working. Worked beautifully for me

I tried a medication in 6th grade and it made me feel weird and emotionless- i tried another over covid but dropped it quickly after. Still looking for one for my ADHD :( Got lucky with anxiety though, those meds worked right away

Working with behavioral techniques I wondered if it would be OK if I share this link to an article I found about procrastination. Because I have ADD there’s certain things that I don’t like to do in the house involving say cleaning and I’ll find ways to distract myself of other things that are more fun. Then I run out of time for doing those things then I say I’ll do them tomorrow. Only to repeat the same cycle over again the next day. I’m not sure if I could share the link it’s from an article in psychology today but if I can let me know and I will post it to the thread.
