Post my first Dara infusion, I felt a mix of fatigue and a slight feverish feeling. It wasn't overwhelming, but it did make me take a couple of days off work to recover. How are you feeling now?

Hey! First Dara infusion, that's a milestone. I remember feeling a bit fatigued and some mild discomfort, but it varied for everyone

Glad you reached out and asked, It's totally normal to feel a bit apprehensive about how you'll feel afterward. When I had my first infusion, I experienced some common side effects like fatigue, nausea, and headache in the days following. 🤕 However, it's essential to remember that everyone's experience can vary, so what I went through might not necessarily be what you'll experience. It is *crucial* to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest...

I felt a bit achy and tired for a couple of days, which I think is quite common. listen to your body during this time and if you're experiencing any discomfort, don't hesitate to let your medical team know. They can suggest ways to alleviate the side effects you're experiencing.

I had immediate congestion and headache, but that resolved with additional Benadryl. I felt tired and a little achey the next few weeks but I believe it was because it dramatically dropped the light chains to almost normal (now normal) very quickly. In 3 years of VRD I never even came close to normal range. I am feeling pretty darn good now.
