To be honest, the first time I experienced an anxiety attack, I felt like I was having a heart attack ... I even went to the emergency room. I felt strong heartbeats and a kind of heavy feeling of distress in my chest...

My first physical symptom was heaviness on my chest - it felt like I had rocks holding my chest down, making it hard to breath

I think it was nausea. I've had anxiety all my life and I just remember being in elementary school before a presentation or performance being SO nauseated and so nervous

My first symptoms went hand in hand at first, I was nauseous 24/7 and really jittery. I noticed it when I was like 10 and I spoke to every professional I thought could help and they all told me i was just eating the wrong things. 🤦

Mine manifested as stomach issues. In fact, my doctor almost diagnosed me with a stomach related illness rather than anxiety.

It is either anxiety, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, and or undiagnosed Autism but my back and shoulder muscles are always tight. I don't know how to relax my back muscles. My back joints are hypermobile which also doesn't help

I guess mine wasn’t actually a physical symptom but rumination which portrayed as restlessness and malaise once those feelings got really bad
