So, for me, it started off pretty vague. I just kept feeling super tired all the time, no matter how much sleep I got. And I'm talking bone-tired, like I'd done a marathon or something.

Oh, where do I start? It began with feeling super weak all the time. Like, lifting a kettle felt like a workout. Then there were the kidney problems. I was peeing all the time and it just felt... off

Started with back pain that just wouldn't quit. I thought maybe I'd pulled something, but it got so bad I could barely get out of bed.

You know, it's kinda weird but my first clue was when I noticed my jeans getting loose around my waist. I wasn't dieting or anything, but I just kept losing weight. At first, I was like, "Cool, free weight loss!" But then it started to freak me out😯

I actually didn't have any symptoms at first. It was a routine blood test that caught some funny numbers, and my doc decided to dig deeper. Talk about a surprise diagnosis.

During summer 2023 I went to spine center for severe back pain right side. I also experienced severe pain with any bending. At one point I had to hold on to wall and end table to get up. I was told I had arthritis through out my back, pelvis and spine. After consulting my NP daughter she said I needed to start mobic and something for pain. I was told Tylenol and they did order mobic. Then I suffered severe constipation and as RN I knew it was way unusual when not one otc including citrate of magnesium didn't work. I asked him for flat and upright and yes my colon loaded but he also saw multiple spots at base of spine. Next X-rays, MRI, PET scan all confirming MM. I had pin in left head of femur for fracture, kyphoplasty 5 days later for burst L11 and compressed L-3. Had PE, in hospital 7 days, discharged next day back to ER with 102.7 temp...UTI. That was 4 days. Also have had 3 blood transfusions for low hemoglobin under 7. I'm doing well with chemo and have tolerated few changes made. Fatigue? Yes, but it's from my r leg that I drag around. I use rollator at times but most I use came. I hope this helps if anyone else having any of these symptoms.

Lots of pain in back just thought it was from my car accident injuries. I was 43 diagnosed by my thyroid specialist.

Never had a symptom. Primary Doc noticed something in routine annual blood labs and decided to send me to an onc...that was in late 2016. Diagnosed with MGUS in 2017 and MM in 2019 with no CRAB and still no treatment.
