Hey there! Have you been working out? I'm in terrible shape and I really need to do something. I'm curious to know which exercises you've been doing and finding to be both safe and effective.

I absolutely love swimming! It's such a relaxing and refreshing activity that I try to do at least twice a week. There's just something about being in the water that makes all my worries disappear.

I'm trying to do yoga but it's really tough. I mean, like super hard. I'm doing my best but I still can't seem to get the hang of it. It's getting pretty frustrating

I've been thinking about walking to start losing weight and to get some cardiovascular improvement.

@CarltonBoy Same! I absolutely love taking walks! It's such a great way to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. I'm really looking forward to going out for a walk soon, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will cooperate.

I walk on a treadmill at home, which I got from a neighbor who wasn't using it. I turn on something fun on the TV and walk at my own pace.

I've been fortunate that I started going to the gym almost 40 years ago. my current regimen is not anything like those days, but I judiciously get to my gym 5 days a week .. basic stuff is a walk on the treadmill... flat - no incline- and I am up to a pace of 2.7 ... on bad days I will go 3 or 4 min and good days for 10 min and occasionally push to 2.8 for the second half ... I also do the stairclimber for 2 to 5 min ... started at 20 steps per min and worked up to 30. I always think that even 1 min of doing SOMETHING is much better than hours of doing NOTHING.

AARP has wonderful site with senior exercises, if your senior. It’s a great place to start your journey, they offer chair exercises.

Hey bud! so I've tried a few things, but I found that meditation, breathing exercises, and walking are my jam. Swimming is cool too, but I get tired easily. Honestly, everyone's body is different, so just make a list of things to try out and see what works best for you. Keep a positive attitude and you'll find what works
