They can. Especially the first 6 weeks when your body/brain is getting used to them. If you’re still having issues after that then perhaps see your doctor about switching them if it affects you badly but all anti-depressants do tend to come with side effects you just have to figure out if the pros weigh out the cons. Take care

They certainly do. Everyone reacts differently to antidepressants. I liked taking sertraline and escitalopram in the morning but fluoxetine at night. You just gotta experiment to find whichever works best for you!

I take my anti depressants at night (duoloxetine and Amitriptyline) as they're also sleeping pills for my insomnia. I was only on Fluoxetine for a couple weeks as I had a horrible reaction to it so I have no clue about if it affects sleep or not. Some medications are classified into 2 categories, uppers and downers. Uppers help waking you up and are best taken in the morning and downers help you sleep and are best taken at night and then some medications could be either depending upon your body

Yeah. They should help you sleep but sometimes the doses need to be adjusted until you find the right balance :) prayers!

Taking them at night, I have found works, I felt alot better sleeping at night and saw a massive difference in myself during the day.
