basically remove all the FODMAP foods from your diet for a month or two and then slowly reintroduce them back in to see which are your triggers. I recommend the Monash University app to find which foods to remove :)

My thoughts are that it removes all foods that trigger the IBS symptoms which allows you space to work on actually fixing the gut. It is not a permanent solution, however it is a really useful tool and tbh I've been using it for the last few years to let me slowly heal my tummy
