Seconding finding a new doctor. It may take a while, but there’s likely a medication that will help you. For me, I had really bad allodynia - cymbalta was a life saver. My other meds aren’t super super helpful, but they take the edge off at least!

Id say dont borher with that dr then. I tired for years to be put on lyrica i had to fight and move drs a few timed but finally got prescribed lyrica and makes the world of difference

In my opinion the side effects from most of those medications is what bothers me.. I would try to go a natural route of healing.. if you can get medical marijuana in your state I would say that’s the best route.. outside of that I would say a muscle relaxer every now and then so that you don’t get addicted.

I take nortriptyline at night before bed and it’s been helping! And it helps with sleep too which is nice. I have less nights of waking up in pain
